Demolition for what will be known as Port Jefferson Crossing took place on April 12. It will be three stories, and according to Conifer’s website, “will offer residents a stylish and modern energy-efficient place to call home.”

The complex will be conveniently located directly across the street from the LIRR Port Jefferson station in Port Jefferson’s “uptown” area, and is part of Conifer’s continued efforts alongside the Community Development Corporation of Long Island (CDCLI) to provide high-quality affordable housing.

Now that demolition of the former buildings occupying the property are complete, construction is set to begin soon. Stay tuned for a more precise opening date, but for now, anticipate an opening some time during late summer of 2022.
