On May 29, 2021, town residents of Port Washington will be able to celebrate those who sacrificed their lives with a special Memorial Day ceremony and fireworks display.

Located at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington or 175 West Shore Road, this firework commemoration will begin at 9 p.m. and run until 9:45 p.m. Residents are encouraged to enter the grounds when they open to the public at 5:30 p.m., as it is first-come, first-serve and follows strict Covid capacity guidelines.

During the extravaganza, attendees must stay in their cars, other than to use the restroom, where they must wear a mask.

Don’t miss out on this amazing firework display produced by Santore, as it will be synced up to music that will be broadcasted over the radio to listen to during the event. Pay $10 for parking when entering and bring canned foods for the town’s donation drive happening during the ceremony.

For more information, call (516) 869-6311.
